Hi, I've got a dilemma. I am a long time member of AAdvantage. I used to travel to US in business (from UK) and had their platinum card. I no longer travel for business but do make 5/6 trips a year in Europe (economy). I always book oneworld flights, using my AAdvantage card. I have now booked return business class ticket to Sydney from LHR, via Helsinki and Singapore). This is a discounted ticket (I). I have used my AAdvantage card.

I have Amex Gold Rewards card (60k points at the mo). I'm collecting points towards upgrade / award flights at some point, possibly to Tokyo or HK

The question I have:

Would it be better to use BA Excecutive card (I've just joined) for this trip. I only have 15k miles on my Aadvantage now. Is BA Executive card 'better value' than American Advantage?
