Yes you have to clear immigration in MEX T2 and also pick your bags to be rechecked in. Perhaps connecting to an internation destination you wouldn't need to collect your bags but passing through immigration is compulsory.

Just to correct 31dany, you only have access to the Salon Premier if you're coming from or have a connecting international flight. No lounge access even if you're Skyteam E+ on ordinary domestic.
