Absolutely fell in love with this little gem of a village in the Luberon, on our visit this past March. We stayed at [

Concur with all
JDiver has recommended, and will add that Bleu de Toi, just to the left of Les Terail, as well as Le Fournil, are fantastic dining experiences, solid Provencal fare and good local wines at reasonable prices. Le St. Andre, at the base of Rue Droit, had some wonderful freshly cooked frites, best enjoyed with a packet of moutard. Never ate a full meal there, but it was a good "snack" stop for a biere du pression et plat du frites on a couple occasions. You'll likely need a break after climbing Rue Droit and especially if you go all the way up to the cemetary at the top of the hill.
If you are willing to do a little friendly trespassing through private vineyards, it's a brisk 6k hike to Lacoste from the center of Bonnieux. There isn't a lot to Lacoste, other than the ruins of the chateaux of the Marquis de Sade (now the campus of an American school art institute), but a nice country walk, and worth it just to see that.
A bientot, Bonnieux, I will definitely be back.
