i agree with you on the issue of the same rate as the grosvenor house....there is a world of difference between these 2 properties....
Issues can happen yes, but a worn out 5 star hotel at a 400 USD rate with a housekeeper walking in on me and unprofessional management on how they dealt with the issue puts it there IMO.
At the Grosvenor House, tiny and I mean
tiny situations happened and they offered me with two free nights at the hotel. I still regard the Grosvenor House as the best service I got ever. They made sure I left the hotel happy.
