This appears to be the most relevant current thread for my question.
I have a multi-sector, multi-carrier itinerary booked through an online agent. EK is not the first carrier, nor the ticketing carrier. Two sectors are on EK in F on the 777.
This will be my first time on EK and I have next to zero knowledge of the airline.
Ideally, I'd like to change both EK flights to the A380. According to the schedule I can do this and still avoid changing the current transit in DXB to a stopover.
- How can I get the detailed fare rules for the ticket I booked?
- I understand it's not possible to change from an F bucket on the 777 to an equivalent First seat on the A380 as F doesn't exist. Is this correct? If so, does that mean that changing from First on the 777 to First on the A380 is not possible?
- If it is possible to change, can it be done with triggering a re-price, preferably by the entire itinerary is commenced? Alternatively, is it possible to change once the first sector (which is not EK) is flown?
