i would worry more about the alliance. hopefully they will stay. i have had a lot of airlines that have left dc with my points, and others that left and transfered my points to useless airlines. delta is a prime example of a lousy miles airline, as far as i am concerned. i have 125k and my wife has 75k with delta, and i do not recall where the miles came from.

i think when swiss disappeared, so did our 200k miles.
