I fly SEA-PDX all the time. Yes, do use the elite security line. Also, because the plane doesn't usually board until about 25 minutes until take off, you can time your planning to arrive at the gate about 30 minutes to take off. Of course, depending on the time of day, you might be able to arrive a few minutes earlier and just get on the plane that is leaving at that time.

Anyway, don't listen to the naysayers. Flying is the way to go. No gridlock, no accidents, no cops on the freeway. Just sit back and let the pilot and crew do the work.
