My preference Hilton.
I few years ago, I booked a deep discount rate for a room at the DT for a lower lever room on the side away from the falls and got upgraded to one on an upper level on the falls side and we were able to watch the Friday night fireworks in our PJs.

The ES has a "The Keg" in it and it's one of our favorite places to eat when we go south of the border (from the DTW area).
