Yeah, I said that tongue-in-cheek. Although the MAC seems to be showing more interest as of late in attracting low fare competitors, there's no denying the historically cozy relationship between the MAC and NWA and now Delta. Nor can it be denied that there are substantial barriers to entry at MSP.

The simple reality is if there is too much competition in MSP, and monopolistic concentration is reduced , there won't be hub. We know it, Delta knows it, MAC knows its and the MSP business community knows it. It's a devil's bargain (Delta bargain? ) for a hub and the accompanying non-stop service.
