Unusual question!

I would think your changes of getting bmi to match you are not so great - but it can't hurt to try. Of course, when bmi was still a Star Alliance airline that would have been impossible - but now that they're moving ever-closer to BA it may be that Diamond Club is not allowed to be as generous at status matching as they were before - particularly while status in bmi can be then converted into status with BA!
