Time to ticket using CR voucher?
Hi all,
I had an electronic CR voucher in the value of $80 given to me by BA customer service. The ticket had to be booked over the phone, but six weeks later, 2 days before my travel date, the ticket hadn't yet been issued! (I did receive a confirmation #.) It was finally manually issued while on the phone via Skype on the hotel's poor connection, outside the country. Not how I prefer to spend my vacation.
My question is: Does anyone know how long issuing a ticket with a voucher usually takes? I was told that a week after booking, my info would be sent over to ticketing and it will be done in order of departure date. I have sent BA an email inquiry, but last time it took 2 months to receive an answer... Thanks!
