You may be confused with HI Dijon as, until recently, it was one of the very few HI hotels redeemable for just 10,000 points. I have an award night booking there this August, I'm crossing my fingers that it won't follow the trend of other IHG properties in France.

The same goes for the HIX Strasbourg Sud, where we should be spending 6 nights this summer. But since this one was a Novotel as recently as last year, I'm optimistic...
