I'm not a big Doug fan but I don't think he had much of a choice. When I was riding the tube a few days ago in London I saw an add for US. "Fly US Airways nonstop in comfort from Heathrow to the Eastern US" or something to that effect. I don't think "Fly America West to Eastern America" would have worked.
