1. yes, no fees for EXP. FYI -- they charge a booking fee (non-refundable) if you (EXP) are not one of the passengers

2. Not sure how to squeeze in the sfo-jfk leg. It has to be a international gateway for Hawaiian to be able to add a leg. Even then, I think it will be difficult given your SJC leg. Please let me know if you are able to do it!
