Maybe they are cleaned, maybe they aren't, but does it really matter? Do you want them to re-stock all of the toilet paper too? Someone could have opened up the door and done something to it before you get to use it. Actually, someone could have sat in your seat before you used it too! What about the people at passport control, think of all those dirty passports that they touch before they check yours. Travelling is clearly a filthy process.

Sorry, I'm being overly sarcastic, I just don't understand what the world is coming to if people get scared about someone else touching things before them. What next, all human contact is abolished and everyone has to walk around in a facemask, paper suit and latex gloves? Better yet, just don't go outside. Too many stupid TV programmes highlighting the "hidden dangers all around you", tune in at 6.30 to find out more.

With regards to recycling items, there was a recent documentary that looked at catering on BA and all of the unused sachets, packets and jars are recycled and placed back into the system. Good idea if you ask me, anything else is rather wasteful.
