I'm not sure what "sods" law is, but it's "faux pas."

I've never experienced what you've experienced, but a computer glitch it is! I also glance at the tickets to see that things ticket correctly, and since a few years ago, I've been very paranoid about getting the email or checking reservations to make sure it says "ticketed" as opposed to just "purchased." I've had things say "purchased" for days, and it usually doesn't end up well unless I call in to get it fixed.
