I find it unreal that AA would let a flight from DFW/AUS that was already 30 minutes late, but was the last flight out for the night, leave the gate when our inbound flight from SFO was already on the ground with 17 passengers trying to make that connection. There was bad weather at DFW this evening, so everything was delayed in and out.

It's not like holding it an additional 20 minutes was going to impact their on-time record. If we hadn't sat on the tarmac at DFW for over 30 minutes waiting for a gate, we might have had a chance. Now more that a dozen people are away from their family another night and are out money and sleep because AA couldn't hold the flight for such a large number!
