Sorry if this is a repost but I have a couple questions.

I have oak-ogg-sjc on Hawaiian on hold with miles for early 2013. If I book this will I be able to cancel and redeposit the miles as an exp with no fees? I am not sure if the kids will have the days off school but I want to lock up the seats.

Also is it possible to add sfo-JFK as a leg for the same amount of miles a few months after we return before I book? Not sure if that is a valid routing on HA since the current flight is to sjc.
