That's interesting, considering the Delta route map sepcifically shows a DL-operated AMS-DEL route, along with the AMS-BOM route you can get award travel on.

The award calendar ONLY searches DL flights. Get yourself a FlyingBlue account and search for classic award space in coach or business on airfrance.us. These can be booked with your SkyMiles either using multi-city on DL.dumb or by calling. The flexible date search there searches DL, AF, KL, and AZ (plus others that won't be useful on your routing). Note that it has trouble getting the DL domestic bits, so you might want to start from international AF/KL gateways and then find the DL segments.
Gotcha, I'll try this method. Is classic the lowest cost awards?
