Your most recently booked trip will be at the bottom of the list.

After 2 -20 minutes, there will appear "book companion" as an option for that booking. Click on this and you are into the companion booking engine.

To avoid the absurd Southwest timeout, I will book a series of flights for me, then logoff. Go get a beverage (I recommend alcohol if you are coping with Southwests's website). Drink. Relax. Calm down. After 10 minutes, log back in and follow the steps above. Viola! There are all your "book companion" links.
I have a similar plan, but it does not involve alcohol. I book the flight. I then open a new tab and book the hotel. For good measure I book the car rental. I open TripIt and set up the trip there. I go to my email and verify all of my reservations. I go back to WN, click on "My Account," get the OOPS! error, return to home page, log in, and then do what you describe above. That seems to work as well.
