Yes I understand what you are saying. But imagine this scenario. Your silver member expiry is June 8 2012 and your member expiry is in July 2012. I did not qualify for silver by June 8 2012. I am saying that if I embark on a qualify run between June and July 2012 for silver, I will still enjoy 100% ba tier bonus and all other silver benefits even though I am technically in the process of soft landing. The net result is after this run I will be silver till June 2014 versus if I had qualified by June 8 2012 I will only get silver till June 2013.
