When LH is always telling me that they have to save money, I can do the same without a bad consience. After having tried out the latter later this year, I will decide which of these two will get my regular business to the Far East and to India in the future. Under the actual circumstances, it will neither be LH nor LX.

It seems you are not the only one. I assume many of their passengers don't fly as often as the people on this board and believe LH Business class is 'wonderful' (which it actually is when you are used to economy).
I was at a financial seminar in Asia recently. There was a big group of people from many European countries. It seems there were two different types: the ones why did not care much about money came on SQ and CX because they have the best product. The ones who did care (or where their company did care) all came on middle east carriers (and were usually pretty satisfied with the product, but nobody liked the transfer in the middle of the night).
