With LH's behaviour toward it's loyal customers, I have no longer a bad feeling when I say that my money is more important for me than supporting the airline of my home country.

When LH is always telling me that they have to save money, I can do the same without a bad consience. QR has a good onboard-product and excellent transfer conditions at DOH, while EY has it's partnership with Air Berlin (and gives me access to oneworld). After having tried out the latter later this year, I will decide which of these two will get my regular business to the Far East and to India in the future. Under the actual circumstances, it will neither be LH nor LX.

I was at a financial seminar in Asia recently. There was a big group of people from many European countries. It seems there were two different types: the ones why did not care much about money came on SQ and CX because they have the best product. The ones who did care (or where their company did care) all came on middle east carriers (and were usually pretty satisfied with the product, but nobody liked the transfer in the middle of the night).

Excellent comments. I wrote a long rant on the Score 2014 thread a little while ago with basically the same thoughts, just 10x more words.

I share your frustration.

I have adopted Germany as my second home, and LH as my first airline (at least for long-haul), and both because I see so much potential there. But with LH, I have ever more frustration, because despite the potential (great network, great equipment, great facilities, great people), LH can't seem to get it right lately, at least not for me.
