I was on NRT-HKG yesterday and a Korean informed me that she was being let go effective at the end of May. I am not sure exactly what her position is but she dressed like an FA although she told me she was on a contract rather than full-time. I have a couple of HKG-based friends from former flights who are Koreans so I asked if they were also affected and the answer is yes. They also dress like FAs and I always assumed they were FAs and have never been informed differently. Not really sure if these are the same people.
