Some suggestions:
- Le Chardenoux des Près: in a vintage atmosphere, excellent bistronomique food run by Cyril Lignac, and served by smiling/professional staff. Elegant still laid back atmosphere. RSVP (Amex Fine Dining)
- Le Petit Vatel: one of smallest - still more than decent - restaurants in Paris. Do not expect grande cuisine but home made cooking in a very friendly atmosphere
- KGB - Kitchen Galerie Bis : yes it is fusion cuisine, but you cannot miss it: very good and cheaper than the original restaurant
- Le Comptoir du Relais: when grand chef Yves Camdeborde runs a great bistronomique. RSVP
- L'Agapé substance: contemporary bistro using herbs and rare vegetable. The most recent revelation in the area
- Fish Boissonnerie : great food, great wine in English speaking atmosphere (the restaurant is run by New Zealand team)
- Armani Caffé: surprisingly excellent Italian food (not so surprising when you know that chef is Massimo Mori). Very friendly staff, and I love their ice-cream à la turbine
