Delta Baggage allowance policy keeps confusing me. Their website is really unclear and I've found myself in the past in situations where check-in agents wouldn't agree to enforce the rules listed on their website.

So here's my question:

I'll be flying JFK-MIA next August in Economy with my wife & daughter. As a Flying Blue Platinum member (i.e. ST Elite +), what will our baggage allowance be ?

2 lbs. 70 pieces per passenger or 2 pieces for me only me ?

Same question for a ST Elite Member (a friend of mine on the same flight with 2 family members)
