A friends of mine's wife has a new UA Mileage Plus account number has a three letter prefix. She has run into several cases where gate personnel refuse to believe that it is real. (The last ocassion was in Kashgar, China, on Tuesday -- Air China.) I am guessing that the account number is ok, since it logs in. But I also think that the existence of three three letter account numbers has not propogated to the edges of the United empire yet. Comments?
