I haven't as yet flown F but am considering upgrading my CW flight next month with Avios to experience it, I will be aged 31 at that point. Keen to try GF, CCR and NF....all the acronyms that baffled me 4 months ago when I started reading the boards
From a leisure traveller perspective, everyone has different priorities I guess whether you choose to focus it on comfortable travel and hotels from the start or wait until you have got other things in life. e.g. I first saved for my deposit for my flat which I bought at 26 (not easy in London!), at 27 I bought my first car (incidentally a BMW

) and at 28 I experienced my first Club World, paid for out of my own pocket and today I am now comfortably earning at a level that does largely allow me to fly Club Europe most of the time (on MMB upgrades) and purchase long haul sale fares in CW.
I have a friend (one of the "consultant" variety) who got a gold card at 25 by virtue of work flying and is soon about to get a Concorde room card - for him First is nothing special!
