my two cents

First, I love, love, love flyer talk. I have learned so much and the community is outstanding. I don't post often, but I read a lot. So thank you.

Is it the blogs and the resulting proliferation of information that is the issue? Or just a few greedy, glutenous people for whom to much of everything is never enough? In light of the recent story about those two AA frequent flyers who so abused their life time passes, (seriously, booking empty first class seats on international flights so no one sits next to you or companion tickets for strangers) I would have to say the later.

Most of what I see on flyertalk and the in better blogs (like the Frugal Travel Guy) is rooted in the spirit of good will, with the intent to help each other get to a better place, enjoy the trip, travel in good company and at a better price (literally and figuratively).

I don't know about you, but I figure the bad guys, the abusers, well things have a way of evening out in the end.

Thanks for the topic.
