I would think that if the corporate rate earns at one place it earns at another. What I think might have happened is that sounds like you went through your corporate TA. I don't know too much about hotel programs, but they tend to not hand out points if the room is booked by a third party.

Hilton T/C reps are notoriously moronic when it comes to explinations, another call wouldn't go amiss.
