Please take it easy if I say something ignorant (new here). I, too, want to find a way to meet CC spending requirement and then convert to cash asap.

If you just need a few hundred dollars, it looks to me like they almost always have a lot of free-after-rebate software at Frys.com.

My hope is to qualify for the chase sapphire -- need to spend $3k in 3 months. Some can be my insurance and utility bills, will make up the difference in Walmart GC (I buy groceries there) and maybe using Frys FAR software.

Is this a bad idea, or just too low-volume to interest other folks ?
