Posting of Flex PQM for canceled CO PP Credit Card
You all know the varioius reasons why someone might not want to pay $ 395 to renew their Presidential Plus credit card, but as I will be appaorching my renewal dates in a few months, I want to get as much bang for the buck on my current annual card membership, which for me is earning as many Flex PQMs as I can so I can top off my elite/premier status without having to do mileage runs (at least for the next three years before Flex PQM start to expiry).
As Flex PQM tend to post a couple of weeks after reedemable FF miles post from spending on my Chase PP, I was wondering if anybody knows, or will know in the next few months from their own experience, if Flex PQM "earned" in a Chase PP billing cycle before the card is canceled will be posted in due course after cancelation, or will I only see the Flex PQM that are both earned and posted prior to the non-renewal/cancelation of the Chase PP credit card.
I already keep track of my monthly net spending, so I know when I'll be near my next $ 5000 net spending increment, but when I get towards the end of my PP membership year, I want to time things so I get as close to the next 1000 Flex PQM award without going too much over.
For me, CapitalOne Venture (I got the 100K miles bonus) is a much better way to get PQMs, as "free" tickets paid with Venture earn PQM (as well as redeemable miles), unlike "reward" flights books with UA miles. $ 60 vs. $ 395, not a hard call.
