I asked the hotel lots of questions last year when I selected the room--this year, I was hoping to get some feedback before checking back with them.

I'd like to try the Trafalgar, but we really took advantage of the Waldorf lounge last year, so that gave the Waldorf the edge again. For me, this is the location where I like to be in London, although I hope to try the Park Lane and Bentley on future trips.

I considered the Courtyard Doubletree last summer, but the reviews on Trip Advisor (and here too, IIRC) were very uneven.

We were on the 1st floor facing the street, and I didn't have any issues with street noise. Might have the Ambien to thank for that, though.
