Thanks to the great help on here I now have a Flex Y class booking MAN-BNE in late June, and have signed up to EF.

EF shows D class upgrade availability already for my BNE-DXB leg but none for DXB-BNE, I'm hopeful this will be available nearer the date, seems to be a few for the next week for example.

Could I now lock in the MAN-DXB upgrade and upgrade DXB-BNE when it becomes available? This would help in getting preferred seating.

The (miles) cost of upgrading separately is 50,000+90,000 for two, against 125,000 for an all-in-one upgrade, would I be able to pay only all-in-one price when I come to upgrade the second time?

Any other suggestions would be great!
