You'd be far better off hoping that you're offered the 399 upgrade to F- A better lounge and then much better service on board.
I genuinely have no idea why anyone would use this service unless, they are truly, truly famous and will get grief even in the CCR, don't want to be seen at the airport or are interminably lazy!
Even if I had 1,800 to chuck away, I really can't imagine ever using it (unless as you say to avoid queues on the way back in)
