IP phones questions

I'm going to get a TalkSwitch IP phone system for my dad's office (and install it). The features and price just can't be beat. But I have some questions about the network parameters that I bet some people here can answer.

1. Do I really need gigabit ethernet? The phones only have fast ethernet switches, so it would seem that that's all I need.

2. Assuming I don't need gigabit, I'm certain I would need a switch that supports VLAN tagging. Is it correct to say that I would need three VLANs: a management VLAN, a phones VLAN, and a data/PC VLAN? Right?

The phones support VLAN tagging with different tags for voice and data from their built-in switches.

Am I missing something?

Thanks!
