Was check in quick and efficient? I checked in at LGA. The check in clerk was new and really and had to ask his colleague for many things.
Did you use priority security (if eligible) and if so, was it quick and efficient? Yes
Did you use the Maple Leaf lounge and if so, any feedback in regards to service, food and drinks? In YYZ the MLL was packed and ended up to be a hot mess with empty plates everywhere, food on the floor, no napkins. The cleaning staff was veeeery slow to clean the place. Not the best place to relax. At LGA the United club is a sad depressing place to spend time
Was priority boarding offered (if applicable to your status) and efficient? Yes and enforced as many passengers in economy wanted to board anyway.
If there was a delay, did the gate agent provide timely updates? No delay.

If there was a delay, were you provided with timely updates? Small delay and the captain kept us informed all along the wait. (Special note from the LGA –YYZ flight: delays but no information provided by the pilot or at the gate)
Was the IFE activated on the ground? Yes
Was a pre-departure beverage offered on the ground? Yes
Did crew offer to hang your jacket? Yes
Were newspapers & menus distributed and meal orders taken (Please specify when meal orders were taken - on the ground or in the air)? Yes and yes, meals orders were taken from the the 9K seat and down the rows to 1K and up from 1A to 8A on the ground
Did crew offer a hot towel prior to the meal service? Yes
Approximately how long after take off did it take for the first meal service to be completed? (From takeoff to all items collected) I asked for the quick meal so less than an hour of service for me.
How was the quality of all the meals? I had to skip the starter because, again, of allergy to smoked salmon. Again no replacement or solution proposed which is a shame but it turned out ok as there’s no starter in the “express meal service”.
Did the cabin crew continiously top up the beverage of your choice throughout the flight? Yes
Post departure
If you have checked baggage, did it arrive within reasonable period of time? I connected in ZRH to FCO. A FCO my baggage was one of the first on the belt! Unbelievable!
Overall experience/any other comments
I slept very well for 5 hours but, again, the meal presentation was awful. The fish looked soggy and the breakfast was bad. I can’t say there’s room for improvement: there’s an universe for improvement!!
The crew, was really senior. The CSD refused to answer me in French even though he speaks French. He was ice cold. The service was rushed and a bit messy too.
That was my first AC long haul experience. I will certainly flight AC again but now I know I should not expect a lot.
