I stayed here in March and would concur with most of SeamasterLux's review. My standard room had modern style furniture (see photos above) and as Plat I was given passes for breakfast in the 2nd floor restaurant. I found the doormen to be quite responsive and had no problems with attitude at the front desk (unlike Rome where they were all ********). The only minus was that I could not access my room after doing a late checkout. They kept recoding the key, and finally sent up a security guy to open the door. This wasted 15m of my time.

Overall, I think this hotel is definitely one of the best options for Kiev, though I'm told the nearby IC is also nice. My corp rate was closer to 300Euro/nt. - 600 seems excessive. As for location, the Hyatt is convenient to St. Sophia Sq if you want to visit/photograph the stunning churches. It is not quite as convenient to the downtown offices, but only a short car ride.
