I have GE--now what?

I just had my GE interview at the Atlanta Port Office, and as expected, the CBP agents were all very courteous and had me in and out within about 10 minutes. They put a "CBP" sticker in my passport, and they gave me a V-folded instruction card with a 9-digit number that's not my passport number--I'm assuming this is my GE card number for the card that will show up in the mail any time now. She told me that I am GE effective immediately, and I can now use the GE kiosk when my next inbound international flight arrives.

Here's the part on which I am completely unclear, and the TSA's website is no help: if I present my BP and GE card at any PreCheck checkpoint, will they let me through, regardless of the airline I'm using? I have a US flight in about a month, which is apparently not a PreCheck "partner".

Thanks!
