I told the TSO at SFO today that I am willing to show my passport but not hand over. This worked previously. Today he called a super and he insisted that he needs it. And what I am afraid of, it's not like he will keep it. I only made a grimace because that's exactly what I am afraid of. So, am I required to hand over or am I required to show?
