I flew IAD to ORD that night. We had a 10PM departure and finally left about an hour late. Was pretty bump coming down, captain kept telling the FAs to be seated. I was surprised they let us take off based upon the weather reports I was seeing for ORD. When we landed we only had to wait about 10 minutes for a gate. I was lucky to get a cab. When we drove past terminal three that looked even worse. I don't remember seeing ORD that busy after midnight anytime recently. Glad UA got me home and I didn't have to stay over at Dulles...
