Hotel and restaurant choices (and the quality thereof) in Dallas and the Metroplex depend largely on the locations in which you need to be. With limited public transit and marginal taxi service, the prairie is a great big place, and even when driving up from Waco on business or pleasure, my choices are dictated by my destination(s).
