Apart from what others have said, 'safe' is certainly not the right word if we are talking of two separate tickets. Even if they are both AF, the second won't be protected if the first flight is, say, one hour late. I'd personally never book with less than 2 hours between two flights on separate tickets regardless of airline/airport. You are 80% chances of being fine, but the price of being in the falling into the remaining 20% would be too high for me.
