Squeakr, i don't know if you were referring to me, but i wasn't referring to the OP!
If i take the opposite side, it's mostly because i want to hear the views of the non-smokers.

I think one of the biggest misconceptions implicit in your question above is that smoke is merely something "people don't like" when in fact it does cause physical reactions such as coughing, burning eyes, etc.
I couldn't agree with you more! I am talking about smoking in open areas.
I wonder where should we draw the line between the rights of smokers and the rights of non-smokers. I wished more people were thinking the way you do (bold).
