Good advice above to ask for the ticket to be reissued immediately. Your receipt will show Z with fare class showing as something like MAPRT/PU503.
That ensures that the SWUs and miles were used and you don't have to worry about a mess at the airport
If your receipt still shows the M fare, then it hasn't been reissued yet. Your itinerary may show Z, but the ticket receipt needs to also show Z for it to be official.
