This makes me wonder, I have a trip from LAX to IND coming up in August - there's a route I can pick that flies to ATL departing LAX on a Weds morning at 10am on a 77L, which has 45 1st class seats. Do I stand a chance of scoring an UG on that leg since it's a Wednesday and it's such a large plane? Or am I better off booking via MEM on an A320?
Probably better off going via MEM, as it's not uncommon to see more than that on the list after accommodating elites LAX-ATL.
Although on the flip side I'd probably do the 77L just to do the 77L, and if you had any chance LAX-ATL, it would be the plane it would be on.
