+1000. I was trying to figure out a graceful way to respond to that comment, but, then again, it didn't really deserve a graceful response, did it?
I will watch R-rated movies regardless of who is seated next to me. They shouldn't be looking at my laptop / tablet in the first place, and it's not my responsibility to make the world child-safe by whatever arbitrary definition of acceptability a particular parent happens to hold.
It has nothing to do with making the world "child safe" and everything to do with just being considerate. I don't really want to watch graphic sex in flight either, and if I'm trapped in a window seat and you're next to me watching it on your giant computer screen, I really have nowhere else to look.
