Looking at all of the rankings, it's the hotels that surprise me the most. HH #2? You'd never get that from reading the boards around here...even since the 2009 devaluation of HH and the subsequent changes such as properties with no more "standard" rooms, I don't see a lot of positive chatter on the HH board. I remember just before January 1st of this year, I went over there to read a "Should I go for Diamond?" thread, thinking I could start using my HH Amex. General consensus was "Don't bother." (Since the HH Amex is a fairly competitive general-spend card, I decided to do it anyway.)

Starwood #1 is no surprise. I kind of thought Hyatt would slip into #2 based on how they treat their Diamonds. People here seem quite happy with them...
