SAN is one of two places that I have seen them have a luxury car waiting with the renter's name on a placard and the trunk open. The last time I was there it was an MKS that was waiting. The car was clean and ready, not still wet like us commoners get ;-).

The ladies working in their preferred office have been with Avis for 20+ years they will take care of you. Their fleet usually offers a good variety.
