Notwithstanding the abandonment of CO's Houston HQ, United is still a much larger employer and economic engine in the Houston area than WN. While I don't believe they will actually cut back much flying if Southwest gets its way, I think the case to avoid fragmenting the smallish local international market in Houston is a compelling one.
