I'm generally conscious of my surroundings - if I am sitting next to an awake young child, I would probably opt for a film without violence or nudity - I can generally find something on the IFE that features neither. If it is an adult, then I don't feel the need to limit my viewing, especially if it is something on the IFE, that the airline has deemed appropriate! If I am watcing something on my personal device, I can normally angle myself / it away from curious child eyes, so don't limit then either (although frankly, Dr. Who, Desperate Housewives, and Inspector Morse aren't known for being racy!)
